Sequencing the plasmid

A plasmid is a tiny piece of DNA, which we cut using three different techniques in order to insert a human alpha-amylase gene into it. Sequencing is a technique that will allow us to determine the order of nucleotides on the plasmid. Because the ultimate goal is to express the human alpha amylase protein (HAA), we need to cut out the cloning sites of the plasmid to insert the HAA into a plasmid.
